COREY TAYLOR On His Girlfriend ALICIA DOVE: 'She's Everything I Ever Wanted And More'

January 9, 2019

Corey Taylor has gushed about his girlfriend Alicia Dove, saying she is "everything" he "ever wanted and more."

The SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR frontman hooked up with Dove, who is a professional dancer and a member of the all-girl dance group CHERRY BOMBS, after the breakup of his eight-year marriage with Stephanie Luby.

Rumors of Taylor's possible romance with Dove gained strength in the fall of 2017 after CHERRY BOMBS went on tour with STONE SOUR.

On Tuesday (January 8),Taylor posted a photo of Dove at their shared home in Las Vegas, along with the following message: "She's my best friend. My confidant. My push and pull, my warm kiss and my welcome home. She's everything I ever wanted and more, all rolled up into the most beautiful woman in the world to me.

"Found this painting in Estonia. Alicia's not a huge fan of it. But she's such an amazing sport about it we made her 'recreate' it. It's one of the things I adore about her: zero fucks and the ability to make me laugh my ass off.

"I love you so much, my Queen. Here's to many more years together."

Dove has previously called Taylor her "king" and "best friend." She also credited the musician for showing her "a love I never thought was possible. His energy is warm, his heart is as big as the sun, and every single day I get to walk this earth by his side is a gift. I live to see his smile, and his laugh is my favorite sound."

Corey and Luby were married in November 2009 in Las Vegas inside the Palms hotel's Pearl concert theater. The wedding party marched down the aisle to METALLICA's "For Whom The Bell Tolls" before more than 350 guests, including JANE'S ADDICTION's Dave Navarro and SUGAR RAY's Mark McGrath.

Taylor divorced his first wife Scarlett — whom he married in March 2004 in a small ceremony at the Botanical center in Des Moines, Iowa — in early 2007. In the November 2008 issue of Revolver magazine, he was quoted as saying, "After I got sober, I realized my relationship wasn't right for me. My wife and I had damaged each other too much."
